Gather the party, then leave something behind for next year's celebration.
A birthday party is over in a few hours. This time capsule setup gives it a second life. Guests write down memories, predictions, birthday wishes, or whatever chaotic wisdom they feel like sharing, then everything gets sealed away until the birthday person opens it again a year from now.
Picture that moment: unsealing the box twelve months later and finding predictions nobody remembers making, notes from friends who've since scattered to new corners of life, party memories that had already started to blur, and the kind of heartfelt lines that would otherwise have been lost completely. It turns one evening into something the birthday person actually gets to revisit.
